Privacy policy

This policy covers the website at vitaupgraded.com, run by VitaUpgraded of Cromwell, Connecticut, trading as VITA Upgraded ("we", "us"). It is short because the site collects very little.

The short version

• We collect what you type into the project form, and nothing else about you.
• We use it only to reply to you and, if we work together, to do that work.
• This site sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts.
• We never sell or share your details for anyone else's marketing.

What we collect

When you send the project form: your name, email address, and anything you choose to add (business name, phone number, the services you picked, a budget range and your message).

When you visit any page, our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the page and protect it from attacks. We do not use that data to identify or profile you.

Why, and on what basis

We use form details to answer your enquiry and, if you become a client, to provide and invoice the work you ask for. That is the only use. If you'd rather we didn't keep your enquiry, ask and we'll delete it.

Who else handles it

A small number of service providers process data on our behalf, under their own security and privacy commitments:

• Cloudflare hosts the site and runs Turnstile, the spam check on the form. Turnstile loads only when you start filling in the form. It checks that the visitor is a person, and Cloudflare states it does not use that data to track you or for advertising.
• Resend delivers the form to our inbox.
• Zoho hosts our business email.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't become projects are deleted within 24 months. Client records are kept as long as the work and our legal and tax obligations require.

Security

The site is served only over HTTPS with strict security headers. The form endpoint validates everything it receives, limits how often it can be used, and stores nothing; your message goes straight to our inbox. To limit abuse we use a one-way hash of your IP address for a few minutes, never the address itself.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, at any time and for free. Email dan@vitaupgraded.com and we'll respond within 30 days, usually much sooner.

Children

This site is for businesses and isn't directed at children under 16. We don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date at the top.
